Samta is a premium fragrance packaging system rooted in Indian scent culture, where fragrance is tied to incense, oils, flowers, and ritual. The project reimagines everyday aroma products—candles, reed diffusers, and essential oils—as a more elevated, cohesive experience.

The visual language draws from perforated incense holders and the lattice windows of Rajasthani palaces, where pattern is both decorative and functional. These references shaped the gold motifs, vibrant color palette, and detailed packaging patterns, creating a system that feels rich, cultural, and refined without becoming overly traditional.

The concept also extends into scent tester cards inspired by palace windows. Their cut-out structure allows air to move through the paper, helping the fragrance diffuse more naturally. Across the full system, Samta uses pattern, color, and form to turn simple scent products into a more intentional sensory experience.
